Do you provide Certificates of Insurance (COI) to your clients??
Yes, we offer Certificates of Insurance (COI) to our clients. To receive one, please email us a COI sample, and we will be happy to provide it for you. To prevent delays please send us your COI sample at the time of payment. We do not take any responsibility for any delays caused from us not being notified of your buildings COI requirements or for any barriers put in place by your buildings managment.
Do you offer repair services?
No, we only offer repair services for window treatments that we have made. If you’d like a quote for a new set of treatments, please contact us here and we’ll be happy to assist you!
Do you have a physical location?
No, we do not have a physical store. Instead, we come directly to your home or business to measure your windows and show you our samples.
Are consultations free??
Yes, consultations are free. If you’re unsure about your project however, you can also email us measurements of your windows, and we’ll provide you with a quote. Please note that we do not offer in-person consultations for single-window blinds or shade orders. Instead, we will send you images of the samples and have our installer schedule a time to take final measurements.
What should I do to prepare for my window treatment consultation?
To make the most of your consultation, we recommend:
Having an idea of your style preferences (colors, materials, etc.).
Identifying any functional needs (light control, privacy, blackout).
Clearing access to your windows for easy measurements.
Knowing your budget range for the project.
Our expert will guide you through options, so no need to stress—just be ready with any questions you have!
Can I schedule consultations with multiple window treatment companies at the same time?
We kindly ask that our consultation time be dedicated solely to 1 Day Window Treatments. If you plan to consult with multiple companies, we recommend scheduling separate appointments.
Company Policy: If our salesperson arrives and another window treatment company is present for a consultation at the same time, they will leave immediately out of respect for both companies’ time.
How quickly can I expect installation?
Our professionals ensure a swift installation process, allowing you to enjoy your new window treatments promptly. Generally we offer roller shade, blinds, and cellular shade installations within two- three weeks of receipt of payment. For curtains please contact us directly for the time frame. We will always let you know the time frame during the consultation
How long is my quote valid?
Quotes from 1 Day Window Treatments are valid for 6 months from the date of your consultation. This gives you ample time to make a decision while locking in the pricing provided.
If you choose to move forward after the 6-month period, we may need to reassess pricing based on current material costs and availability. If you have any questions about your quote or need an updated estimate, feel free to reach out!
Can I use my own fabric for a custom drapery or shade project?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to use customer-provided fabric for custom drapery or shade projects. However, we offer a wide selection of beautiful fabrics to choose from, and we’d be happy to help you find the perfect one for your needs. Take a look at some of our fabrics.
I ordered blinds or a curtain rod from a different website. Can you install them for me?
We do not offer installation services for blinds, shades, or curtain rods from other websites or companies. We only provide drapery installation services with curtain rods or tracks that you purchase from us. If you’re interested in new window treatments, please contact us here for a quote and we’d be happy to assist you.
Do you take care of removing and disposing of old window treatments?
Yes, our installers can remove your old window treatments and take them to your building’s basement or dumpster upon request. Please make this request during your installation appointment, as we cannot return just for disposal. If your building does not allow disposal, it will be your responsibility to arrange for it.
Do you patch or paint any holes left behind after window treatment installation?
We do not patch or paint any holes that may be left from the removal, installation, or adjustment of window treatments. For these additional services, we recommend reaching out to a professional handyman or painter.
I changed my mind about my purchase, what is your return policy?
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for any orders due to the custom-made nature of our items. We recommend thoroughly reviewing your order with your sales person before completing your purchase.
What are the care/cleaning instructions for your products?

Can you really complete the project in just 1 day?
Our name, "1 Day Window Treatments,” reflects our commitment to quick, efficient service and faster turnaround times than the industry standard—not same-day completion. We simplify the selection, ordering, and installation process to save you time. While smaller projects may be completed quickly, larger or custom jobs require more time for quality results. Our standard lead time for shades is 2–3 weeks; for drapery and Roman shades, please contact us for details.
